Frank Kutschera continued the practice of E. and J. Kutschera as K&K architects in 1995, founded in 1960 by Landscape architect Dipl. Ing. Elisabeth Kutschera and later Prof. Joachim Kutschera as a Landscape architecture practice, which was involved in the major urban renewal projects of postwar West Berlin, the MV, Märkisches Viertel with architects as C.K. Lee and H. Schudnagies, H. Plarre, H. Stranz and later residential landscape design “Vineta Platz” for the housing group DEGEWO in the period of the postmodern building exhibition in Berlin. The practice emphasis on quality building design, and public domain, with a realistic approach to budget concerns. From 1995 the practice engaged in social-housing in Hamburg- Allermöhe and private Villas in Hamburg Germany, Italy and France as well as in commercial projects from 2000 in the Czech Republic and Germany, urban development in Hamburg Wandsbek, former public Neighborhood market Hamburg-Wellingsbüttel into a new local shopping center with medical offices, in cooperation with its project-management firm Hansa Terra GmbH and Berlin architect Prof. Walter Nägeli. Residential Projects in Berlin, in 2010, like the initiation of the historic Orangeriepark (relating to the Castle of Hohenschönhausen) with the restoration of its historic park, including the old Orangerie from 1776 and two Italian villas, in Berlin Pankow, as well as the revitalization of a landmark building, as part of the general hospital in Hamburg Barmbek, into an office building.
